We have two terms to describe our social behaviour-
'etiquette' and 'manners.'
(আমাদের সামাজিক আচরণ ব্যাখ্যা করার জন্য দুটি শব্দ রয়েছে—‘এটিকেট’ এবং

'Etiquette' is a French word and it means the rules of
correct behaviour in society.
(‘এটিকেট’ একটি ফরাসি শব্দ এবং এর অর্থ হলো সমাজে সঠিক আচরণের নিয়মাবলি।)
The word 'manners' means the behaviour that is considered to
be polite in a particular society or culture.
(‘ম্যনার্স’ শব্দটির অর্থ হলো একটি নির্দিষ্ট সমাজ বা সংস্কৃতিতে ভদ্র হিসেবে
বিবেচিত আচরণ।)
Manners can be good or bad. For example, it is a bad manner
to speak with food in one's mouth.
(ম্যনার্স ভালো বা খারাপ হতে পারে। উদাহরণস্বরূপ, মুখে খাবার নিয়ে কথা বলা একটি
খারাপ অভ্যাস।)
No one likes a bad-mannered person.
(কেউই খারাপ অভ্যাসসম্পন্ন মানুষকে পছন্দ করে না।)
Remember that etiquette and manners vary from culture to
culture and from society to society.
(মনে রাখবেন, এটিকেট এবং ম্যনার্স সংস্কৃতি অনুযায়ী এবং সমাজভেদে ভিন্ন হতে
পারে।)
